Santa's elves bake for Marines. by Laura Moyer, Free Lance Star 12/21/05
They were at work all last weekend, making cookies and muffins, nut and banana breads, candies and Chex mix and brownies. Even tough guys need treats.
Monday morning, a mountain of baked goods arose in the Spotsylvania County office of the Phillips Home Selling Team, and more stuff was arriving as employees of the real-estate firm scurried to pack it all into baskets.
Two vans loaded with baskets embarked for Bethesda about 11 a.m. Monday. A traffic accident stretched the trip to two hours.

Dear Doreen Phillips,
Thank you so much for adopting my classroom. I really appreciate your support. There is always great need for extra supplies in the classroom, especially teaching students with special needs. This money will help me to be able to purchase items that will reinforce the topics presented. Thank you so much!
